Turn Off Live Update On Lights?

Is it possible to turn this off? I am working on a project with a lot of cad. And when I have to move a light, it moves at a snails pace in the viewport and in the in render window. Which is fine, but when I pause the render, then go to move it, it still takes forever to move, unless I completely close the viewer window... Is there a way around this?

Obviously you would say to close the viewer window and reopen but it takes a long time to reload all the geometry every time I want to move a light. I wouldn't even mind it updating after I released a click, but it feels like it tries to do it mid move. Like a live geo update.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you sure it's the live updating of the lights causing this? Are you able to send me the scene pls so that I can take a loser look?

Thanks

Hey Paul,

I just noticed it was happening a lot when moving lights, let me try a few more things to dial it in a little more and I will get back to you.
