oh wow i didn't know about this either - this is a huge addition!

no more messing around with re routing textures to a temporary diffuse material :)

thank you - this will save a lot of time

OOI, how long has this been there??

It's been there for 12 months. Always worth reading the release notes :-)

i do check them :) somehow i missed it

i have a request - it seems i have to deactivate/reactivate 'Solo' each time i select a different texture? or am i using it wrong?

if that is the expected behaviour would it be possible to keep Solo active so that if i change texture the render updates?

This is probably doable, but not the indented functionality, and may break other users workflows. If everyone wants it to work this way, happy to see if it can be changed.

thinking about this a bit more, if it's a case of one or the other, then i think the current behaviour is best

that way you can select a particular node to view, and then you can work on the node itself or any node that comes before, and the render will update

if it's possible to add my request as an additional option (e.g. a checkbox) then great, otherwise i think it creates more problems than it solves

thanks Paul - it probably doesn't get said enough but i really appreciate the plugin and the work you do to maintain it
