Octane X for Big Sur
On MacOS Big Sur we now support a full range of hardware beyond Vega and Navi AMD devices - including AMD Polaris GPUs (2012+) and Intel GPUs, instantly adding millions of new macOS systems that can now run Octane X!

A number of fixes and several performance improvements have been made since PR1. Most notably we have pushed performance by up to 10%.

We want to thank everyone who has reported issues, and tested scenes using PR1.1 and PR1.
We are making solid movement towards the first stable release of Octane X, which will include full support for Vectron, Universal camera, Maxon OSL Noises and live compiling/JIT of user generated OSL shaders.
Bug fixes in Octane X PR2:
- Fixed hang when enabling deep image.
- Fixed scripted node graphs always using default settings in demo builds.
- Fixed info passes causing a crash when using PMC.
- Fixed corrupted renders when rendering composite materials.
- Fixed render failure when rendering Vectron and Volume SDFs.
- Fixed rendering using an animated universal camera.
- Fixed crash when selecting "show in graph editor" on a pin that is connected with a large external node.
- Fixed how portal materials are handled in info shaders.
- Fixed a bug where autobump doesn't work properly on a mix or composite material.
- Fixed issue causing wrong time values to be displayed in the animation timeline in some scenes with FBX archives.
