This is a bugfix update of Octane X that fixes various issues that have been reported for PR1.
Changes since Octane X PR 1:
- Fixed a potential hang caused by corrupted geometry data if texture displacement is being used.
- Fixed a potential hang if UVW transform textures are being used.
- Fixed a potential hang if deep image rendering is enabled, but no deep image passes.
- Fixed incorrect loading of extra UV data if primitives actually don't have extra UV sets.
- Fixed inverted logic of the polygon side texture.
- Fixed artifacts produced by stacking multiple GGX lobes together with low roughness.
- Fixed dirt node not being used with medium nodes (when there's actual surface intersection crossing the boundary of the medium).
- Fixed composite material not updating while changing some child material's float data (non texture pins).
- Fixed rendering of vertex attribute textures.
- Fixed UV mapping of light sources on quad lights.
- Fixed self illumination on quads, and illumination on the back of parallel surfaces in close proximity.
- Fixed render error if an emitter has size 0.
- Fixed incorrect rendering of tiled images where tiles with the index have no image assigned to.
- Fixed incorrect rendering of the marble texture as greyscale if power input texture is not greyscale.
- Fixed a memory leak that became significant when you load complex projects from ORBX files.
- Improved out-of-core memory management when resources become scarce.
- Standalone: Fixed very long scene load times when
--no-gui
is being used.
