Tried all that already and no go. That is why i asked DEVs here does XB3 network render even work in standalone since it is not seeing anything on network. And i installed slave and standalone on renderslave anx rebooted both multiple times and still nothing.

have you try reversely, meanning runing your standalone from your slave PC and have a slave from your master pc?
another possibility is your network have issues, but your 2019 can see it, Strange!

Network is fine , I have NAS and 3 machines in network and all works in file sharing and other apps connecting, also Octane 4.05 and 2019.1.5 from plugin work fine in network rendering. I never before tried to test Standalone network rendering and now when i tried it's not working which is strange since plugin use same GUI/system. That is why i think it might be some problem in standalone 2020.XB3

I see, as I recalled, this actually happened to me once,
Check your windows 10 fire wall configration,
actually after installation when the first time you run the slave( or standalone?), there is a pop up with the firewall allert, if you chose let it access, it will work, if you choose no, it will be like what you have now.
you now have two choice,
1 reinstall and at the first run pick the right choice
2, you can change the firewall configuartion manually, see the image below

Sorry i posted this to wrong section (XB2) but can you DEVs fix this problem with universal material, in 2019.1.5 is correct and in 2020.XB3 renders black .

What am I missing... for a while after installing the later versions of the standalone....
You would get a folder with the slave install, run and uninsatall etc.

How do you run/install the 2020.1 XB3 slave?

The slave has its own installer now. Many users do install either standalone or slaves on any given machine anyway so this allows you to install just what you need.
