Displacement in RC7

Hi,
When going from 3.08 to 4RC7, displacement is something strange. I have to setup the node with the highest value possible (something like 8192 or so, don't remember right now). Before, 512 or 1024 worked fine, but in 4RC7, I get strange results...!?
Best wishes,
Thomas

I am seeing files that had displacement in prior version ORBX- work as expected.
However- if I add displacement to a file- material ball renders just fine- rendertarget crashes octane on win10, crashes machine on mac
