Will octane 4 support RT cores or only cudas

Now that our nvidia talk is done, we can talk about our work on this. We have an internal buid of V4 on RTX, and it’s faster, but not by the same amount we have gotten on Vulkan. We’re working with nvidia on this.

This release again crashes when trying to denoise on intel 9xx series CPU. You corrected this mistake in the previous one. Why is the error again present?

Whoa...so Vulkan is fastest currently?!
BTW - Is Brigade AI going to be integrated into these other APIs through Octane, or is Brigade going t be its own API?

Naive to and not sure of what the relationship with this stuff is.
It's like LUA and OSL: Looks and feels kind of the same, but it's not the same.

We need a new way to select the active render pass in the UI. Once you activate all of them, the strip of buttons under the render is too long (goes off screen), and there is no way to scroll to activate the hidden passes.

Because as a side effect of the ongoing work on the denoising library, AVX instructions have crept back in but in a different place.

I can't mix 980 Ti with 1080, they can't work together but separately they work just fine.

" Planetary environment: Improved appearance of star field"

By the way, this octane 5 looks amazing https://youtu.be/6ChweQETKTE

Here is a simple scene setup with the planetary environment.

Please note that the images are scaled down to avoid a huge file size.
