What is the Status ?
Get no answer and it is not fixed ?

System: Centos 7.1 Gnome.

We could reproduce this on a CentOS 7.1 installation. It might be the theme but I could not figure out how to change theme or it could be the user interface toolkit we use that has a bug and needs an upgrade. We're aware of this problem but we haven't figure out a solution yet.

cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Is the Ubuntu Gnome-Classic standard installation without change or would be made to Ubuntu Gnome-Cassic changes?

I don't remember if it's standard or not. It's called "gnome fallback (metacity)" in the login menu.

Could you post an example, because here it works:

(camera and object motion blur)

Rotating objects are shrinking. Other than that, everything seems to be fine.

The issue is most likely in the way the Alembic file was exported which you are using. How did you create it?

I exported it from Softimage. I tried both possible alembic exports, default Softimage alembic export and Exocortex alembic plugin.

Well, I found what was the problem. A little bit complicated to explain but, in short, there was jumping back and forward in scene framerates. So data transfer from one scene to another changed framerates few times. Data transfer was done by alembic, and I believe that alembic somewhere in that exhibitionism stored "wrong" data (possibly angular velocity or something).

I really hope to see in the next release a solution for porting over 2x-3a projects to 3x in regards to the disconnected resolution node. Depending on the way a scene is setup, this can cost a lot of time, and will for a large amount of my projects.

What exactly is the issue. If you explain it more in detail or give me an example scene, I will try to improve the version conversion.
