thank you guys for this update
there is only one small thing i was hoping you will add it in 3 and the first thing i did in the stand alone i was try to light object with material Emission from both face normal now octane only do it from one side so is there is any hope for me to get this future pleeeeeeesae ;( see the attach image.

getting 20-40 % slowdown in OR3 compared to OR2.24 on simple demo scene - ChessSet_imageTextures :(

Very fast and caustic problem solved. When render starts, you can see caustic!! Very powerfull.

what gpu do you run? What happens when you change the parallel samples slider?

Make more realworld tests. Exactly not slower, even faster significantly

aoktar is right - I got 225% faster PT for the same scene.
3090, Titan, Quadro, Xeon Scalable Supermicro, 768GB RAM; Sketchup Pro, Classical Architecture.
Custom alloy powder coated laser cut cases, Autodesk metal-sheet 3D modelling.

Try comparing PT kernel, not DL
3090, Titan, Quadro, Xeon Scalable Supermicro, 768GB RAM; Sketchup Pro, Classical Architecture.
