Broken SSS behavior? Tweet

Hi, I'm wondering what happened to SSS in current versions of the addon. Starting with version XB1, visible UV seams appeared when using medium nodes, which had not happened before in 20.6. Here is a viusal comparison of 3 different versions: Standalone 2019.1.5, Blender addon 2019.1.4 20.6 and the newest 2020 XB2 21.2 update, no RTX.



Standalone is a clear winner here
20.6 - seems between surfaces appear visible
21.2 - clearly visible seams


The same problem was described here

Dear devs, can we find out when this problem with medium nodes will be solved?

Unfortunately, the same problem occurs even in the latest version of Standalone 2020 XB3

Please report it to proper Sandalone section so the developers are aware of this.

I would say "fortunately", because that means that once solved in Standalone, it will be automatically solved in any plugin integration.
