Hello developers,

Why there is no stable Blender plugin release of latest stable Octane version? Latest stable release was based on Octane 19.1.2 a month ago while a month ago there was Octane 19.1.4 released.

gotta admit i am still kinda lost with these version numbers.

any idea when the 2020.1 is to be expected?
or is it first we wait for the 2019.1.4, then 2019.2.
then sometime the 2020.1?

i hope how your realise how confusing it is to follow these version for a guy that just wants to render stuff.
any chance of streamlining the procedure in the future or is it to remain this way?

thanks,
crackfox

I agree with Crackfox.

It would be very helpful to see a table that clearly outlines which version corresponds with which license, subscription, and actual Blender version, and which features are included uniquely (or excluded), stable or not.

There was a dedicated thread for releases and updates but has been abandoned long time ago. Can somebody explain why it has been abandoned?
It's same situation all over again. If nobody has asked we would have to guess what's ahead with future releases.
