Blurring single object in scene

Hello all,

Can you tell me how I'd go about blurring a single object in a multi-object scene?

I know it's something to do with the compositor, render layers etc., but can't get it right.

Thanks!

You can do this in post production in a software of you choice or using Blender's compositor as you've mentioned.
CPU – i9 13900KF, 128GB RAM, GPU – RTX 4090
System – Windows 11

Thanks, J.C. - ideally, I'd like to do it in Blender.

Do you have any advice on how I would set it up? The closest I've got is using Blender's Render Layers option, rather than Octane Render Layers... The problem is that the shadow disappears from the blurred object.

Thanks, as always, for your help.
