Also - in addition to testing, we are also dependent on the actual release of OctaneRender 3.08 itself.
This will bring with it a slew of fixes and new additions. When I have clearance to do so, I will let you know more about these new additions and changes pertaining to 3.08.
Cheers.
Azen

Hi all,
Another week is due to pass, and OctaneRender 3.08 still has a bit more to go in terms of validation before being declared release-ready. This, in turn, continues to impact our plugin release timetable. In the meantime, we are aiming to compile known issues and accumulating requests and reports from users (thank you all once again for continuing to provide these).
I will try to gather enough data to provide a progress report of some value asap.
Cheers,
Azen

Hello all,
Finally, after a tremendous effort on part of our Development team, we are finally in a position to release OctaneRender for Blender (now supporting OctaneRender 3.08). With the release of OctaneRender 3.08, we can finally resume a more regular release schedule - our apologies for the long wait resulting from this. The Release Post - coming very soon - will contain the release notes for the Blender plugin release. We hope that you enjoy the improvements in OctaneRender 3.08
Cheers,
Azen

Thank you for the new release. Why there is no OSX nor Linux version?

Hi there,
Regarding Mac and Linux availability - the builds for these are present, but we will need 3.08 RC1 to be made available for said platforms first. From the development lead regarding 3.08:
First of all, apologies for the delayed release and for the lack of communication on the forums. It wasn't planned, but we had to sort out various important problems in Octane and its ecosystem (still not finished for OSX and Linux yet) and this took a lot longer than we hoped for
With this release we should be back to the normal release schedule. We are trying to wrap up this development cycle as quickly as possible. In parallel we also have been working on (hopefully) exciting new features. More about these soon.
You will find more information here:

The builds are ready to go for all platforms once this has been resolved by the Core Team. Apologies for the delays still affecting our non-Windows users.

Thanks for the info regarding other operating systems.
Has the node groups bug been fixed too?
