LiveDB problem + server exit

Hi
I have latest version of BOE 11.14 and problems with LiveDB. ( I nad simillar problem with previous version ).
I cannot see thumbnails of materials - only names on the tree list.
Sometimes I can grab materials from LiveDB. But usually I have info: Cancelling... 10%. And Have no thumbnails at all.
When I click at one of materials and see nothing then I try to click on others.
I see "Cancelling..." info and after couple seconds server disappears from Windows tray.
Be patient for me, please. I am new here.

After few days of working with BOE sill have no LiveDB preview in Blender ( I see files *.raw in livedb/127.0.0.1 directory but not shown in Blender ).

What can I do ?

... unfortunetly my server still exits quietly. Maybe it is connected with LiveDB problem ?
Who can help me here ?

I still do not have preview thumbnails. It does no matter what version BOE I have. I do not see previews in any.
*.raw files appear in server IP/host folder but Blender does not show them.
I see previews only in OCTANE Stand-alone.

Second case: MEMORY OVERFLOW
this version ( 11_16 "un"STABLE :/ ) made my Windows memory overflow - completely filled my RAM and Swapfile.
Windows stopped completely - Blender blacked and OS info about no memory appeared partially.
I didnt start to do anything in BOE - just start Blender & Server and tried to click on one of materials on LiveDB list.
Sometimes - in 11_16 - clicking on material list exists Blender instantly.
This LiveDB is complete crappy in Blender.

I had 11_16 earlier ( I back to 11_11 ) and I saw those memory problems with that version, but did not have an OS crash as now.
( history: 11_11 -> 11_14 -> 11_11 -> 11_16 -> 11_11 -> 11_16 -> 11_11 now ).

Previous version 11_11 STABLE works fine & dandy.
I go back to 11_11.

Please pay attention to 11.16 version description - you need to delete a LiveDB cache folders of both OctaneServer and Blender (these are different, OctaneServer cache is in OS user directory, and Blender cache is in Blender's user-data directory).

The memory overflow may be easily caused when Octane engine evaluates heavy geometry and there is not enough physical memory. But if you have a lightweight scene where it is reproduceable for you - feel free to give it to me (together with how-to-reproduce instructions) and I'll check it. 11.16 works absolutely OK on my side, on different machines, nothing similar to what you are describing...

Ok Jim... I go back to 11_16 :) ... my install history is getting longer.

I have no huge scene to overload memory with maps or geometry.
Problem is that 11_11 works in my case perfectly and 11_16 not.
Let's test again. I will give info how I went.

In fact - 11.16 must be more stable than 11.11. Because there were some LiveDB server changes caused versions earlier than 11.16 to start be crashing sometimes. It was fixed in 11.16, but even if 11.11 always worked OK before and was rock solid - it may be crashing now.

Just try to catch the exact sequence causing issues for you, so I could try to reproduce it on my end with your scene... There is a new TEST version of Octane SDK in this version of plugin integrated (3.05 test 3, testing rounded edges improvements), perhaps it may cause some issues...

It hangs Blender when try to edit name of LiveDB material .
It does not show any thumbnails.

I will send you video link at PM.

Again: please, read a 11.16 version description carefully.
You need to give OctaneServer 10-20 minutes after the very first clean-cache start (depending on your connection speed) to cache the LiveDB, before starting using it or even opening the LiveDB space in Blender.

Just clean a caches, start OctaneServer and don't touch anything, don't start Blender. Let it work for some time...
