Particle emitter

Hey all,

I can get Blender 2.5 to export the geometry for a particle hair system, but I need to make this happen with an emitter. It seems that even if I bake the object and use an object instance, it still won't export the geometry.

I'm using the current exporter.

Any advice?

It seems that the 2.49 exporter does export the emitter particles as objects, but the 2.5 exporter does not. Is this correct?

If you are using Lionel's exporter script then you will need to use a particle instance in order to get the emitter to work. Simply assign the particle instance to the object that you wish to assign the emitter to. Once you have done this, it should render perfectly.

yes, that is the one.

Lionel is doing a fantastic job of making the blender exporter easy to use. If you look at his other threads, he has a new version that he is cooking up.
