I see no controversy here :-)

Radiance and myself have exactly same point of view about writing into the ocs files but a different opinion about what to do until another method is available, which is normal as we don't have the same responsabilities towards users.

The new XML format sounds interesting. Hopefully it is something that you will be able to work with.

Yep, I hope it'll allow full control of Octane parameters from outside...
