I had the same problem. I use Octane mainly for animation and find a percentage of less that 1% that O.R. crashes rendering a frame.

I solved the problem disabling the crash report error in Windows (so Octane closes without any prompt), leaving it render what it can and render again the missing frames.

I just don't remember what I exactly did... (For sure several Google searches...)

I'll check later and let you know.
