Hi all,

i have Blender for Octane and would like to create an animation where only the daylight changes (basically i would like to see the light from morning to noon). Nothing else should move or change.

But i am totally lost how i would do that and found no tutorials / help on that topic.

Can anybody help or point me to the right place?

Thank you and kind Regards

Bernd

You should be able to keyframe any value. To create a keyframe for a value just hold your mouse over it and press "i".

Now that i am working on my little day light animation i noticed one other thing:
my scene has a scattering medium for "god rays".
And every now and them, in one frame, the material object or the scatter material of the object is not active. The frame renders without the scattering medium.

I then close blender, start it again, put a keyframe for that particular frame for the octane day time, and the frame renders perfectly with the scatter medium.
