just stumbled across a strange phenomenom: I wanted to render a fluid simulation with > 2.000.000 vertices and found, that the grid had been exported and treated as a liquid material as well. When I did let blender remesh the object (and downsize the vertex-count btw) the error was gone. I've seen this bug again within 3 different fluid simulations/files which all consisted of >1.000.000 vertices.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm using Blender 2.65a, latest exporter script and Octance 1.03
