[Unsupported] Plugin camera fix for recent Blender builds

Hi Guys,

this one should fix the camera export bug with recent builds. Do not use it if you're using 2.61 from Blender site.
I've made limited tests, so please let me know if it works for you who had the problem.

Cheers,
Yoyoz

Hi, you wouldn't really expect it to.
Blender 2.60 (r41226) is from October 23 last year. ;)
This plugin is for recent builds, as in the last 3 weeks or so, where the Blender matrices code changed.
Blender 2.61 (stable) is out now at Blender.org, how about updating to that?
If you do so please use script v1.12 for it.
The script v1.13 above is only suitable for the latest development builds, beginning approx. r42800, such as those available at graphicall.org.
Perhaps yoyoz was not especially clear about the circumstance in his post.
HTH :)

In passing I see this is my 900th helpful post in 2 years  wonder if we get a prize from Refractive for 1000.... :P

Hello, Lionel!

I am trying to use your script version 1.13 (Blender 2.62.0 r44136, Octane beta 2.57), but have some trouble: after export camera in Octane always gets coordinates 0,0,0. What can be the reason?

Saramary, it's strange because I use the same Blender version (r44136) and Exporter 1.13 and everything works fine.

Great.
Could you give me a simple scene with the settings for exporting to Octane?

Further note to users. Because the bmesh code was merged with the trunk soon after the release of Blender 2.62 builds after that are presently not working with this script. There is still some work to be done with the changes to get UV functional. Please use this script only with builds from r42800 up to r44245 in the meantime. The best idea would be to use official 2.62 at the moment.

Well, settings are some like this:

You should check active camera, it's parenting to another object.
If nothing wrong there you should attach your scene so we can find a problem.

Thank you for reminding. :) We currently speaking about the official 2.62 build. :)
