Clicking "show octane viewport" crashes Octane Server Tweet

I have the latest posted Blender 27.11 (3.4.1) & Octane server 27.11 (Prime) for macOS (Metal) from the releases page. I can start up Octane Server and it shows up in my processes. Blender runs, lets me select octane as a render engine. Doing a render "cmd + enter" opens up the render window and octane renders the scene. It seems this render is not interactive and the only way to update it is to close the window and push render again.

I tried clicking "Show octane viewport" in the scene settings > octane server and that crashes octane server with this message in my logs

Let me know if there's some other way I'm supposed to be opening the render window. I'm new to Blender but very familiar with Octane and a few of the dcc plugins.

Final remder is not interactive, preview render is.
In the 3D view just press Z and choose Rendered to start Octane preview.
