How do I render multiple layers?

Hi,

I've set up my object/layer ID's, turned the layers on in the Layer panel but it only saves out the "Active layer ID" wich is set to 1, 2 or 3 in my example.
So where can I make blender to render the other 2 layers as well?

I'm using an EXR filetype for the export.
Thanks in advance.

You need to setup Blender View Layers for this.
The IDs are there to identify which objects belong to the Active layer, so, in general, you should use 1 or 2 only, according to what you want to be Active or not. The IDs are not defining the number of renders you will get, but only the roles of the items in the render.
