octane data getting lost

Hi I have tried octane with sketchup a few times but everytime i try it I at some point loose all my material and render settings. Its unusable. And the few times i find myself using octane with sketchup for something i have to do it all in one go hoping not to crash cause it might mean i loose all my octane data on next startup...its ridiculous, I have come here to find if anyone have found anyway of ensuring that all octane data gets saved and no material/ render settings get lost on closing and starting up a sketchup file again.

Hello, I have this problem too.
SketchUp 2019 + latest octane plugin.

Some materials i've changed stays after skp. save (plain color material changed to "metalic" material in Oct.) but for example material from LiveDB (some wood) assigned to object previously painted with image texture from SU are gone.

thank you, Grzechowicz for reporting this.
Can this issue easily reproducible?

Please let me know the steps for us to investigate?

Cheers

Hi Grzechowicz,
please try change the original material to Mix material, then connect the LiveDB material to both Mat 1 and 2 pins, instead of replacing the original material with the one from LiveDB.
In this way the material should be saved.
