Hi guys,
thanks for your useful reports.
About Resetting workspace, yes correct don't use this command for now.
For now, please create a new scene outliner window:

Then place it where you want in the interface:

So now you are able to locate the Render Target node, changing its name, and more easily acces to the sub nodes:

About the GPU usage, yes correct, you can use the stop button to clear the memory and usage, but as soon as you make any kind of modification tyo the file, the GPU load goes up over 90%.
Happy testing,
ciao beppe

I forgot to say that, for updating viewport, you can click the red Octane logo button in SU interface to resend the entire scene and update the view, without closing the octane window.

Thank you all for your enthusiastic reception of the plugin and issue reports. Regardless of internal testing we anticipated some problems, and CC is working on these right now.

Please keep in mind that there is a good deal of changes made in Octane core to make the major changes you see in the plugin happen. Octane is on a different development cycle, but we will of course try to make these coincide with the plugin test releases.

smicha -- regarding the shortcut buttons on the node stack - I made the change but this caused some issues in Modo plugin, so I had to revert it. I'll be working on a permanent solution to this soon, but am currently stuck on another task. Please bear with me.

About the window layouts - we are able to reinstate the scene outliner by default, and will have the plugin maintain the changes to the layout on exit. As for the rest of the issues, thanks again for your reports, we will be looking into them.

We have a new build currently in internal testing. If all goes well we hope to make it available tomorrow.

Changes since the test release currently on the forum:
- Should waste less time converting geometry when the render window is not open
- Default layout now includes the scene outliner
- Workspace layout is saved and loaded with the scene
- Node graph editor should not lose track of the sandbox when the window is closed

Captain,

Is this possible in shorter time, next release, we'd have geometry nodes available in the node graph? IMO this is critical for working with external obj/ocs.
