When sketchup materials are converted into octane materials the extra textures are stored locally.

We cannot start one Octane project on one computer and then continue on another within our company.

What do we do?

Hi there, this sounds like a bug to me. Are you exporting to ORBX, or are you saving as normal via SKP?

I do not think it is a bug. Temp textures are stored in c:\Users\user\My documents\Octane\Sketchup\temp

Can this be changed so we can have the temp textures stored in a network location so everyone can access the same temp files?

We only save in skp and render with the plugin.

I would like to clarify.

These locally stored textures are the ones that octane generate automatically, often plain colors converted into a jpeg file instead of just a rgb color. The textures that I assign in the sketchup materials are pointed to the source in a correct way.

Can someone respond to this?

It seems that this is a fundamental issue with the current stable version of the plugin, but this will be fixed in our new major version with the node graph changes. We will be embedding these created images directly in the .skp files
