Import materials problem from Octane standalone [youtube] Tweet

Hey,

I am new to SketchUp plugin. Generally it works but unfortunately it were lacking. Pretty much worries me the lack of support from Otoy [but I should read forum earlier, before I bought the plugin, and I did upgrade to version 2].

The biggest problem is that I can not import material from Octane Render standalone. What am I doing wrong? Details of my workflow on the film

SU plugin is pretty buggy and what the worst is - there is still little communication between Us and developers... We've been talking about it for long long long time....

It seems that there are not too many users of plugin for Sketchup. In another case, the company Otoy would probably cared more about the subject. However, they will not have more users if the company does not take care of this plugin.

The most saddens me that the company Otoy does not care about their loyal customers. I believed in the product at the beginning of its development. I bought OctaneRender still in beta, and for so many years not lived to see enough good plugin. It is sad.

Yeah it is bit of a shame/odd considering the pace other plugins are updated (C4D et. al.) and the fact that SU is one of the largest used 3D softs on the planet.
