I guess I'm not sure about a couple of things. There's the upcoming release of Octane 3, how will SU roadmap affect that. Will we have to upgrade to v3 for plugin. Or will OR4SU come out of beta at for v2.x? Thanks for the updates Bro.

Unfortunately I don't know. Octane 3 is still months away and lots of things are happening here. We're going to announce free limited version of Octane and pricing for other products is still a work in progress.

Hello, any news about the OR4SU2015 ?
Although I have SU2015, I'm working on the 2014 ver. because of the bad OR plugin.
Thanks in advance

I hope pricing model remains reasonable.

Will any of the VR integration make its way into SU plugin? Or is that strictly a standalone addition.

I have too many questions regarding this...

We recently integrated VR as a top priority for immersiveness and interaction at our firm, instead of the typical (school for ants) models.

I'm an adopter of the Oculus DK2, but have found the transition out of sketchup to unreal engine (for VR) a bit tedious, especially cause the UV maps exported from SketchUp are a bloody mess. Will UV mapping become an integrated tool upon obx / ocs export?

Appreciate all your hard work on our favourite plugin!

New version is coming next week

Octane VR is designed mainly to produce VR content. Playback is going to be in a separate application. But Octane4SU will surely support all the features that come with Octane Standalone.

Fuzzy,
Will it be OC4SU->Standalone->VR, or OC4SU->VR?

Looking forward to the next release of OC4SU!
