Fuzzy,
Will it help development if we also adopt a few? Do you have an adopt-kid-bug-fix-ratio guideline? Give us some guidelines so that we know what we're in for...

Hey tetrochuan, good to have you.

Unfortunately, development has been a bit slow of late (I think they're occupying Fuzzy on lesser projects like cloud render & what not). I find the 2015 version a bit buggy - 2014 is better right now.

Best,
Seeker

Hi there. justo say hello to all.

Hope Fuzzy gets back soon and release a new update, many features of Octane 2.20 are amazing, for now I do my final renders in SandAlone, but its a pain to export every time I need to make a final image.

2014 version is the one I use too. 2015 is not stable.

cheers

hi all I just buy the SKP pluging...I´m trying to add a proxies from standalone...
I use the short instructions on the manual. when I load a obj file from demo scenes works fine...
but I haven´t to much luck with orbx and ocs file(from max pluging scene exporter).
in ocs case...in materials editor the information materials appears but not geometry.
in orbx case the geometry neither.
in all cases SKP never ask me, if I want replace the geometry like the manual said.

guys,what I'm doing wrong?? :( :(

Hello mate, i might be wrong but i think when Octane4Max export .orbx packages the geometry is exported as alembic files, not ".obj" (the Octane standard file type) and SU cannot read alembic geometry. At least until now.

Proxies with .ocs and .obrx work perfect but, for now, only if they have .obj geometry inside.

I hope Fuzzy gets back soon.

cheers
