Objects and Materials Missing from OBJ import

I'm creating small surfaces and materials in SketchUp to assign emitters with IES distribution in OR, creating and assigning different materials in SU for each emitter type. It worked successfully for for the first couple emitters, but will not export the objects or materials for the additional lights even though they were made in the same way as the successful ones.

I'm manually exporting the .obj file and updating in OR via the 'reload this obj file' button. Deleting the node and re-importing didn't address the issue. Is the problem with the export rather than the import?

This may have been addressed in earlier posts, but any suggestions would be very much appreciated...under deadline.

Thanks

Facets < ~1mm might not export/import successfully...

Only 'visible' objects that are assigned an ON layer get exported.

They are not 'hidden' are they ?
You can still see then if View > Hidden Geometry is ON ??

TIG,
The facets are larger than >1mm, usually 4" (100mm) dia. and are visible.
I've tried various combinations of reversing faces, recreating the materials, copying the materials, changing size, etc. My workaround has been to copy an object with SU material already assigned that does import to OR, then create a new material and assign it to the copy. That generally works, but not always. Curiously, this loss of object and material has only occurred with my lights, so I suspect it's something in the steps of creating the surface and material and not necessarily the OBJ export or import. However it would be good to see where the breakdown in the process is occurring.
Thanks for your reply.

If this is possible send/attach a sample of skp file in which this problem occurs. I'll look at it.

Smicha,
Thanks for your kind offer. I've been able to successfully copy my SU emitters and reassign materials as a workaround. I suspect it's something in the SU procedures, but will try more experimenting after this project finishes today. If I'm still having problems I'll send you a copy of the file.
