Export all materials even the material is hidden in sketchup

HI TIG

The exporter works great for me, well done.

I have some suggestions for future functionality.

When I do big interior renders I some times hide some objects in SKETCHUP and then do the export. In this way the export time is reduced, and I can focus on adjusting materials in octane. The problem with this is that Octane then delete the materials of the objects that I hide in SKETCHUP, so when I un-hide and export later I will have to setup the materials again in Octane.

Would it be possible to have a function in the exporter to export all materials no matter the material is hidden in SKTECTUP or not??

This would help me a lot and I guess lots of other people as well.

Thanks

hi Claus,
it's just a suggestion
instead of exporting time to time the up.to.date of the moment obj from your whole project it would be a better choice to export an obj for each singol group/component which is supposed to change in time, fix every things you need on them in octane and then, when you will export the finals meshes, you'll not come across with the material prob any more.
neither with the time consuming writing and loading of the big objs.

cheers,
andrea
