The new tool will allow you to set set up an Octane project for your SKP file's output.
It will export an obj file [with materials etc] that is suitable for use in Octane - that obj file etc could be used with other tools if it were compatible with them.
It also has options to 'Render' [one selected Frame] using Octane [of course with it having exported the obj etc first], or [if sufficient SUp scenes are available] to 'Render Animation' - i.e. to render progressive frames using Octane...

I hope the export will run on Mac Os.
Mac Pro 2.6GHz 8 GO 8800 GT+7300 GT + Octane render

It is being developed on a PC... BUT it should be Mac compatible - after some beta-testing :roll:
