can Octane follow a camera and path that is created in SketchUp?
providing i can make one of those?

Until there is a Sketcup/Octane plugin each camera movement needs to come from another frame exported.
You can cut short the process with a utility, see http://www.octanepowertools.com/

There are two [old] Ruby scripts OctaneOCMexporter.rb and OctaneOCMbatchExporter.rb which export scene-cameras [and sun/shadows if desired] as an 'OCM' file that you can then import into an OCS ?
