Have you read the Plugin's extensive instruction documentation ?
The Octane binary is the application-file [that's the Octane... '.exe' file on PC] that you run, and which makes Octane function.
How do you use Octane?
Is there a file-icon you double-click or activate it from a menu - that's the file to link to.
If you have a shortcut you double-click then get its properties [right-click] so you find the original exe file inside its folder - probably somewhere in the 'Program Files' tree...
In the Exporter dialog [first option] navigate to that exe file and set that as you binary application.
If you update the Octane application remember to update the Exporter's link, otherwise the older copy will be used, or even 'not found' if you've moved it.

Hi,
I believe its asking you to set the path to the Octane.exe in the exporter UI.
Use the browse button to navigate to it.
I think this is described in the Help
HTH

Edit: see I was beaten to it. ;)
