Multishader on Asset "Magazine" Preset

Hi,

I'm using the Magazine Preset from the C4D library. It uses 2 materials to distribute the pages to the magazine, both materials driven with the Mograph Multishader. It works totally fine in the viewport and with the Standard renderer. However, when I switch to the Octane Live viewer, it only displays the first texture from the Multishader materials.

Attached are two files: one for Standard renderer and one with Octane Materials:

"Check Magazine_oct_2" (working fine in C4D)
"Check Magazine_oct_4.c4d" (not working with Octane Materials)

I couldn't figure it out, so with a bit of luck, someone here can help.

Hi,
you need to use an Instance Range node with the Maximum value equals to the number of pages you have, then connect it to an Octane Gradient node in Complex mode, and create as many gradient knots as the number of pages, finally connect the desired textures to the knots pins:

I'm trying to rebuild your setupnow.

Works fine for the Pages 1-3 but then on Pages 4-end i get a wild mix....

Could you pleas have an eye on the C4D dokument? What am i doing Wrong?

Got it!
7 pages and only value 6 on the Instance Range Nodes!
Then wild sorting.
