Greetings.

I finally had my Hands on Forrester.

I would like to make the quallity and the Bitdephs of the Tree and the Leafs a little higer.
If you know the Original Shaders, how can i make them more realistic ?

Here are the renders.

I worked around a Little While.

1: I cannot Figure out how to Position the Trees after i put them into the Scatter Obkect. Nothing is working.

2: I would like to know how i can reduce the Shadow under the Trees and betwen the Grass.

3: Here is my actual render.

Hi,
1. you can use a vertex map to define where the trees must be, or switch to Vertex mode and select and save some points on the ground surface to be used as source for scatter
2. have you enabled the Transmission channel in grass and leaves materials? Could you share a screenshot of the Kernel settings?
3. in my opinion, you need some variations in both leaves and grass colors

Well, that was a Work. ;-)

Here is my actual Result.

As far as i have seen, you got to make two Setups depending if you are looking straight ahead, or from abowe.

I mk,ade a Selection with the Vertex. That was much better.

Great improvement, well done!

Still lack of a bit of transmission in the leaves, for my taste.

Do you mind to share a screenshot of the leaves material in node editor, with Transmission channel active in the Attributes?

Ok, please avoid to use the Mix Material, and prefer to use the Composite Material instead.
https://docs.otoy.com/cinema4d/CompositeMaterial.html

Mix Material has several limitations in C4D, works only with 2x materials, it needs to work in conjunction with 2x other node materials so it is difficult to move it in another scene, it doesn't work in C4D Content/Assets Browser, and doesn't work correctly with Solo mode.

Composite Material solves all these limits, and it works correctly with Solo mode too.

If you select a Mix Material in Material Manager, then go to Live View menu Materials/Convert Material, it will be automatically converted into a Composite material

Mix Material is obsolete and available only for retro compatibility.

But for leaves and grass, my suggestion is to use an Universal material, to be able to work with one single material with all the necessary characteristics, and in this way, you can change the Transmission type to "Thin Wall Diffuse", perfect for leaves and grass blades:
