Denoised light passes?

hey guys,

lately i've been using lighting passes a lot (thanks for the option to use 20 of them in 2023.1, helps alot :D ), but is it possible to get them denoised straight out of octane?

i have used various denoising plugins/apps, but found that octanes denoiser works the best for me in most cases, also that would be the most convenient.

thanks alot!

Beppe ... I'm happy to find that question already answered - just not the answer I was hoping for :(

Crossed fingers for 2023.2!

Has there been any update on this? Would be really useful to know when this might land, I could probably drop my scene from 6mins a frame to 2-3mins with this feature as long as it was 40seconds added per pass. :)

Excited about this feature aswell as many others.

Hi,
please have a look at 2024.1-Alpha1 release notes here:
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=82267

And in particular to "Powerful Denoise AOV Nodes and Filter Graphs (GPU and CPU)" paragraph.

This is possible thanks to the new "Open Image Denoise" option:

Thank you :), I've downloaded the latest version of Octane 2024 as you suggested, but unsure how to get the denoised passes out as AOV's.

wow btw - its faster :o
