Spotlight alpha edges

Hi all,
I'm trying to use the octane spotlight with an alpha channel and open exr files. The edges of the volume are dark, as opposed to more transparent on the alpha channel. No effect when I change alpha to straight in C4D render settings.

Thoughts?

Hi,
set the Absorption to Black, and the Scattering to a very dark gray/color.
Also check with Keep environment option active, and in your compositing app, the Alpha view can be misleading.
