Keeps crashing

First off I love Octane, its epic, its quick and gives amazing results. BUT its keep crashing out my C4D (I'm on running on windows 10, octane v4 and c4d r23)

I just upgraded my octane to the latest version as well as C4Dr23. The thing is that It constantly crashes, like two or three times a session. Its getting a bit of a joke now and really, really frustrating.

So rant over, my question is will it be fixed to ever work smoothly on C4D and if so what the best version combination. ie Octane V4 works best with C4D r22 etc.

Any help saving my sanity would be mucho appreciated

Cheers

It means a few possibilities; having some setups issues or out of limits with non-optimised usage.
You'll get a better help if you post some data about your crashes. Alternatively send e-mail to support for a special help.

Hi,
c4doctane v4 works only till R21, there is not a v4 version for S22, R23, or S24.

Please write to [email protected] for a more detailed support.

One very easy thing to try is always debug mode in the driver. right click your window desktop open the nvidia control panel then in the top text menu you should see 'debug mode'. This tells your gpu to clock itself down to the official gpu and memory specs rather than the common built in auto overclocking mode many gpus have. Keep in mind this likes to turn itself off after driver and windows updates.
