Thank you, I going to do some tests with this to see if we can make this work. :)

The hardest thing will be to detect if a project used OCIO or not.

I recommend always using it from now on. ACES/OCIO really benefits from Octane's spectral rendering engine (your work will look even better!) and there is no real downside. The learning curve isn't too bad at all, regarding Octane. It is a little mode involved in comp, but if you're using comp, that is already more involved than straight rendering anyway. But if you standardize on ACES/OCIO, you take the guesswork out of your situation.
