New Rig Should I use 3090 and 1070

I've got a new rig thats been very hard to cool:
CPU 5950
GPU 1070 Hybrid
GPU 3090 FTW3
Case Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL
Fans 3 NH 12x25 fans on top as exaust
Fans 3 NH 12x25 fans on bottom as intake
Fans 3 NH 12x25 fans on side as intake
Im thinking of taking the 1070 out and just running the 3090 to get better airflow in the case but im hesitant because i want to be able to move around the viewport unrestricted from octane rendering in the live viewer. Will my C4D viewport performance degrade if im only using one GPU?
