How should I convert Vray materials to Octane correctly?

Hello,
1) I have to convert many VRAY materials (from a .max file) to Cinema4d Octane. During the process I used MaxtoC4D plugin. But plugin can not convert materials correctly. For example in Max Vray document a material has "Fresnel IOR" input. After converting to cinema4D this texture disappear. So I have to make materials from scratch but I'm not sure this is same with IOR input in the Octane material. How can I convert Vray materials to Octane correctly as much as possible? and is there any webpage that you suggest? (I couldn't find yet)

2) There are 2 IOR values in Octane Universal material. We can assign texture to Dielectric IOR. when a texture assigned what is happening exactly? Because after a texture assignment I can still give values to Dieletric IOR. Additionally if I can assign a texture to give IOR values by bitmap why there is another IOR type here? Metallic IOR. (I'm still researching so sorry if this is a clear topic around here)

thank you
