OSL Distort Texture? Tweet

Is anyone aware of an OSL texture in Octane that will distort its input image with noise? I'm looking for something similar to C4D's native Distort Effect.

I found this post describing how to do use noise to distort in OSL, but it is for Blender and not using an input image/texture:

Here is an OSL shader by Rohan Dalvi that does that. Just create a OSL Projection node and load the script. Make sure your object has uvs.

from 2021.1 there is a new Distorted Mesh UV projection mode, no need to use OSL:
