Getting solid dark grey image in picture viewer

Working on an animation where in a few places frames render as dark grey solid color. See attached image.
The issue only happens in two or three places and persists for a few frames.

In Aoktar's forum FAQ he there's this; "Q4: I'm getting grey output on very simple scene but it renders correct on Live Viewer...Please check off "Render Perfect" option spheres.".
However, seeing as this is posted in 2014 and after some time pulling my hair not being able to find "Render Perfect" I assume it's a feature/option that has been morphed into something else or simply removed.

As I'm writing this I feel quite stunted and have zero idea how to proceed.

Please help!

Thanks

It's not render perfect, because render fine on other frames. Maybe an error or wrong geometry by uncached animation

Thanks for your reply!
How would I even begin to debug and try solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Check Console window for CUDA error messages. Also try to re-render from missing frames and report it. Other than this send me your scene for testing

Posting this for anyone else reading this and is experiencing the same issues.

The incident happened at the keyframe where the stage object would switch camera.
By starting the render on the frame where the new camera has taken over sort of speak the frames render fine.
Not sure why it works but going to run with this for now.

Thanks for help & attention Aoktar!

Cheers
