Network render without Master GPU

Hello!

I have an 2013 MacBook Pro with an NVIDIA GPU (that is no longer supported by Apple and therefore no new drivers). Octane doesn't see it when I try to send anything to render.

Is it possible to set up network rendering using this laptop as a master and a PC with supported GPUs as a slave?

Thanks!

No, you can do this only with Blender, and its Blender Server:

Anyway, GT 750 is still supported. at the moment, under Sierra, or High Sierra:
https://render.otoy.com/octanebench/sum ... 1x+GT+750M
It performs only ~10 in OctaneBench, and has only 2GB of VRAM, but with Out-of-Core + Parallel Samples at 1 in Kernel settings, you should still be able to use it, maybe with a PC in net render, but it depends on how much RAM do you have.

Alternatively, since it has Thunderbolt 2 connections, please, have a look at this alternative eGPU solution via Thunderbolt port.
In this way, you can use the internal GPU for system/monitor/OpenGL, while the external GPU is used only for CUDA rendering, at full power and with all the available VRAM.
At the following link you can find an extensive guide about eGPU solutions via Thunderbolt under Mac:
