Not really getting very far - what I want to achieve is a translucent plastic, like clear polypropylene, it needs to have a high gloss outer finish, but be semi transparent inside. I've been trying with a scattering medium in a specular material, but I'm not getting it.

I'm sure this has come up before, can anyone point me in the right direction?
