Network Rendering stealing issues.

Hello, we have a few machines that are all linked together over the network and we are experiences problems with out machines stealing the slaves over network rendering.
We have the live view network rendering disabled in the live viewer and have unchecked the network rendering in the render settings.
We have 3 machines that we are all working on individually and have a dedicated render slave. The issue is that we will start a render on machine #1 with the networking rendering checked and all will be going well and then machine #2 will steal the slave. This will happen without the network rendering checked in the live viewer or the render settings on machine #2.
we are a bit perplexed and cant figure out why the machines keep stealing from each other.

Thanks for the help!

We see some odd thieving now and then, so we've instituted a general policy of explicitly using the "Release All" button in the OctaneRender Network Preferences window when done network rendering, going to lunch, quitting the app, etc. Just unchecking the "Enable Network Rendering" box in the preferences pane, or toggling the "Options/Network Rendering/Enabled," menu may not be enough. It seems to have helped, but it maybe that the policy has just made people more aware of what they are actually doing and are thus less likely to forget.

I've got no solid data, just an anecdote.

Hi,
you need to firstly connect Master and Slaves from Live View, to establish a preferred connection.
If you connect them only via Render settings, the Slaves are free up at the end of the task, ready to be used by another Master in the network.
