hey guys,

i've imported clouds and had no issues, but upon trying to match up XP fire and smoke to an Object is got me stuck. See the screen shots that show various VDB scale Increments. Also a shot of the export settings from XP for the Open VDB.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to match up my fire and smoke to the boat windows and get proper scale ?

XP is exporting wrong. use scaleZ=-1. Even try smaller scales if it export at different unit than meters. As 0.01, 0.01, -0.01

Seems like it's on wrong location and rotation. Your volume object is rotated and moved. I cannot know more without seeing a sample scene.

Try nesting the volume below a null, and making your PSR adjustments on the null itself. Jon Bosley of Insydium mentioned that trick to me at NAB this year, which I raised this problem to him...

Is it fast? Oh, yeah!
