apparently there have been few improvements to the fog systems but i am not sure how to make use of them.
- spectron - all i could gather is that it works with the spotlight only, which is obviously very specific and limiting.
it is described as procedural volumetric system and i have to wonder how else to make use of it.
- scatter depth limiting (i.e. fast fog rendering) - this is also a feature that sounds very interesting but i cant find a way to use it. is it an option? how do i actually limit the scatter within a fog volume object?
i hope i can get an aswer on this, the whole 2018.1.3 feature set is totally unknown to me.
