is it possible to have the clones of a Cloner with object masks in MP to change them precisely in compositing? Something like a cloner IDs pass with every clone in a different color?

but isn't the cloner a c4d specific tool that would need a octane c4d specific solution?

Since you have asked for a specific new render pass, it has to be firstly added to the general SDK.
