png sequence in image texture doesn't work

i have a png sequence, named and numbered from "Main_00600" until "Main_00692".
now i put the first Image in my Image texture node, go to Animation and set the following:

Mode: simple
Timing: exact Frame
Movie Start Frame: 600
Movie End Frame: 692

(i tried putting "00600" and "00692" but it is not possible, it will be erased everytime i hit enter).

when i render, Octane only uses the FIRST png Image in EVERY rendered Frame, so it is not animated.
whats the issue?

What's version? It should not be an issue as you filename format. What's full path and names of images?

Image names are like "Main_00600.png", "Main_00601.png" and so on.
the folder with the image sequence is on my desktop.
i use version 3.08 (in the live viewer version 4 rc2 r1)

Could you please try it from different location not from desktop. There maybe an access obstacle to files.

still not working.. no matter what i set, the Animation is Rendering and only the FIRST Image will be used

You may have a duplucated first frame in some accessible path. So plugin assumes that you have single frame image

just checked, there is no duplicate.
i even created 5 new Frames and renamed them to "001" to "005" and started Rendering.
Octane still uses only Image "001" for all frames

Hello, did u get it to work?

I tried .mov files and file seqences with TGA.
But it does not recognize the length. Only the first frame as a still.
I used 2018.1 R3 (because of vectron). I will try 2018.1.2 too.

I can submit a example file if needed. Just let me know.

Why don't you give start/end frames?
